  • Membership:  Membership for both the Genealogical Club and the Museum run by the calendar year. If you join on 1 July 2007, your membership is good until 30 June, 2008.
    Please remember to Renew!
  • The Mildred Lankerd-Thomas Genealogical Library will be closing the first Sunday of November for the winter, and will reopen the first Sunday, of April.
  • We invite you to send in your ideas for speakers and meeting topics. We also invite you to send in articles or suggest areas of interest for the Quarterly or Newsletter.
  • McKeever Publications is sponsoring an effort to get the Postal Service to issue a stamp honoring coal miners, past and present. They have asked the Armstrong County Genealogical Society to carry the link to their Web site on our site. To see their Web site for updated information, please go here and support the Coal Miner Commemorative Postage Stamp by signing their petition.
  • ACGC meetings are usually scheduled the first Sunday of each month at 2:00 P.M.
